For all programs, space is limited and registration is required.     Earth Day Kids Concert with Joe Reilly

    Description

    Joe Reilly is a singer, songwriter and environmental educator from Ann Arbor, Michigan. With his interactive musical program Joe brings smiles to audiences while teaching ecology and environmental stewardship. Joe has recorded two children’s albums of environmental songs, Children of the Earth (2007) and Let’s Go Outside (2011). Since 2011, Joe has been the official troubadour for National Get Outdoors Day and enjoys traveling the country sharing a message of ecological interdependence and sustainability with kids of all ages. Price includes Museum Admission.

    Description

    Mr. Singer’s 30-minute sing-a-long is high energy, educational and, most of all, a ton of musical fun. Little ones sing, clap and dance with their caregiver to up- tempo songs that focus on the natural world around them. Have fun, discover and sing!

    Urban Nature for Beginners

    Description

    Learn skills to explore and appreciate the living things in our urban wilderness. Participants will go home with resources to continue exploring urban nature. Suited for adults or families with children ages 7 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult).

    Tea with the Turtles

    In celebration of World Turtle Day, join us for a fun-filled afternoon of all things turtle! Get up close and personal with our resident turtles and even meet some of our special guest tortoises! You’ll learn all about our turtle species and how we work to conserve them. Complete with games, turtle activities, and lunch, this event is one you won’t want to miss!
