Register for all Early Childhood program classes by clicking the corresponding PayPal link. Registration forms are also available to submit via mail or fax. For all programs, space is limited and registration is required.     Thanksgiving Weekend Highlight: Flying Fox Animal Show

    Description

    Learn where bats live, what they eat and the vital contribution they make to the ecosystem. Dispel old beliefs and superstition to discover why we need bats and why they need us. Meet fruit bats and other mammals and experience their gentle nature.

    Nature Nuts! (Ages 2-4)

    Description

    Explore the Nature Museum through age-appropriate activities including outdoor walks, hands-on crafts, songs and stories. Please dress for the weather and dress for a mess! Cost: $10/member caregiver and child and $15/nonmember caregiver and child. For series of 5 remaining classes: $36/member caregiver and child and $54/non-member caregiver and child.

    If you have to cancel, you must email familyprograms@naturemuseum.org to cancel registration for early childhood and family programs, and adultprograms@naturemuseum.org to cancel registration for adult programs.

    Cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the program to receive a refund, or to transfer to another date of the same program. No refunds or transfers will be available less than two weeks prior to a program’s start date. The Nature Museum reserves the right to cancel programs at any time.

    Mr. Singer

    Children & Family | Recurring Event: 1st Thursday of every month

    Description

    Mr. Singer’s 30-minute sing-a-long is high energy, educational and, most of all, a ton of musical fun. Little ones sing, clap and dance with their caregiver to up- tempo songs that focus on the natural world around them. Have fun, discover and sing!
    Cost: Free with Museum admission.

    Spanish through Nature: Parents and Tots (Ages 1-4)

    Description

    Children ages 1-4 will learn Spanish vocabulary during an experiential, interactive class through songs, movement and laughter! Children will read a thematic book together and then do fun hands-on crafts and sing songs relating to the day’s theme. Cost: 7-week sessions: $100/member caregiver and child/series; $140/non-member caregiver and child/series; $20/single class; Presented in partnership with Instituto Cervantes.
