    Butterfly Haven Yoga

    Description

    Join us for a rejuvenating class in the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven. Students will leave class feeling
    energized, balanced and ready to take their practice off the mat and out into the world.
    Cost: $15/class. Discounted rate available for complete monthly series
    registration. Space is limited and registration required.

    Chicago Queen Honey Bee Rearing Workshop

    Adult & Teen

    Description

    The Illinois Queen Initiative (IQI) will hold a one-day queen rearing workshop designed to provide information and hands on instruction needed to rear high quality queens. Each participant will take home a grafting tool, cell bar, queen cups and hand-outs. Participants should have a minimum of two years of
    beekeeping experience and should be conversant with queen rearing concepts and terms. Cost:$90 non-members, $75 for IQI members or Nature Museum members.

    Connecting with Nature through Meditation and Movement

    Description

    Creat an ongoing practice through meditation and movement to explore your relationship with the natural world. Classes in this series include combinations of meditation, chair yoga, and Qigong. Discussion sessions will provide opportunities to reflect on how sitting and movement practices affect us and our thoughts.

    Nature on Tap

    Adult & Teen

    Description

    Nature on Tap features adults-only access to the Nature Museum, including the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven. Highlights include a trivia game testing your knowledge with nature and science themed questions. The winning trivia team will receive the coveted Golden Cockroach trophy.
    Cost: Free for members, $10/non-members. Admission includes access to all exhibits, crafty projects and participation in the trivia challenge.
