Our First Hypertext (Hi-per-tek-st) Stories These stories were written using ideas about the sun and solar energy. The ideas came from 4th grade students at Reilly Elementary School. Hypertext is when you can click on a word to visit another Web page or to see a picture. The hypertext links in each story lead to colorful drawings that help explain the words.
It takes 8 minutes for the sun's energy to reach the Earth. The sun's energy turns into food energy in the form of apples. We get energy from the sun by eating fruit like oranges.
