Water Birds
Here a classic lawn icon has been modified to harvest rainwater and work as a watering can. The modification calls attention to the vast water reserves used on lawn care and suggests the need for a more sustainable approach.
About the artists:
Brian Peters is a Chicago designer and architect whose work focuses on issues of sustainability. He holds a Master’s of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Daphne Firos is a Chicago-based graphic designer. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.
