Backyard Plot

In Backyard Plot, Alan Strathmann conjures a lawn of the future, and calls attention to our nation’s scientific and technological investment in growing great lawns. Here, turf grass grows in a self-contained system featuring agar, a gelatinous medium used in laboratories to grow bacteria and fungi.
