Let’s Live Locally

November 12-13, 2010 (Friday to Saturday)

We’ll be serving up regional fare and treating you to an evening of hands-on activities where you will discover little ways and reasons to live more local!

 

Night Owls and Early Birds

February 5-6, 2011 (Saturday to Sunday)

6 p.m. – 9 a.m.

 

$45/child, $35/adult, non-member; $40/child, $30/adult, member

 

Owls, Hawks, Mourning Doves and more; they will all join us for this exciting evening journey where we’ll soar into the world of birds through engaging games and hands-on workshops.

 

First Flight Overnight

March 25-26, 2011 (Friday to Saturday)

6 p.m. – 9 a.m.

 

$45/child, $35/adult, non-member; $40/child, $30/adult, member

 

Flutter, flit, or fly with us as we step into the world of butterflies. Through unique activities and time spent in the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven, you’ll get an up close encounter with these beautiful insects.

 

Overnight fee: Museum members pay $40/child and $30/adult, and non-members $45/child and $35/adult. Fee includes general Museum admission, activities, evening snack, breakfast, and one Bunking with the Butterflies backpack for each child. Children must be between the ages of 6 and 11 years old to spend the night at the Museum. To register, please fill out the registration form below and send in to the Museum along with full payment or a $200 deposit. (Groups of 75 or more are subject to a higher deposit.) Payment in full is expected 4 weeks prior to the event.

 

*If you are planning on bunking as a large group, please designate one adult as a group leader to make your group's reservation and payments. We cannot process individual payments as part of a group's registration. Deposits and final payments must be in the form of one check or charge for each group's registration.

  • Energy on the Move: Juniors. Fri/Sat, March 11-12, 2011.
    $40/scout, $30/adult
    “Get moving to this fun-filled overnight event where you will discover the ways that wind, water, and fossils give us fuel. Energy is used our everyday lives and we’ll explore ways to create it and save it!”
