Cooper: Photographer Cat

Like many pet owners, Seattle filmmakers Michael and Deirdre Cross often wondered what their cat, Cooper, did while prowling their neighborhood. They found a micro digital camera that could be attached to 4-year-old Cooper’s collar and rigged to fire automatically every two minutes. He came back with cat’s-eye images of the world. “We were blown away,” says Michael. “The colors are so brilliant,” adds Deirdre. “And these angles!” Hundreds of images later, Cooper continues to bring back surprising compositions of his daily adventures.
