Scout Badge Workshops

The Nature Museum offers a variety of badge workshops for your busy scout troops. You can schedule any of these workshops at your convenience. Use the online form to begin registration. For more information, call 773-755-5111, Ext. 7.

    “Discover what makes our planet our home with hands-on activities, mini workshops, games and crafts designed to help you along your journey towards taking eco-action.”

  • “Webelos Activity Badge Day” Webelos 
    January 8, 2011. 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.                                     
    $25/sct-4hrs; $15/sct-2hrs min 180/max 240
    “Elect to earn your Naturalist, Forester, Geologist, or Scientist pin in a 2 hour, hands-on workshop. Sign up for one workshop to earn one pin or stay the day to earn two pins of your choice!”

 

  • Natural Sciences Merit Badge Day: First Class Rank and above  
    April 10, 2011. 12 – 4:30 p.m. 
    $25/sct-4hrs; $15/sct-2hrs  min 10/max 20 per wkshp
    “Take part in a special hands-on workshop to fulfill the requirements for Bird Study, Insect Study, or Nature in one, four hour, session or elect to take either one or both of our two hour sessions on Mammal Study and/or Reptile and Amphibian Study to earn your Merit Badge.
